Strawman announce The Wool Room account win.

Winter is coming. Thankfully, we’ve got just the solution for the winter chill.

We’re delighted to announce that The Wool Room, the British manufacturers of all things wool from bedding to mattresses, have appointed Strawman as their lead creative agency, following a competitive pitch last month.

We’re very excited about this new partnership, and not just because our prospects of surviving the Baltic temperatures this winter have increased dramatically with access to their fine quality British wool products.  Anyone for a duvet?

This is a great opportunity to work with owners Jo Dawson and Chris Tattersall to challenge the outdated way the world sees wool, and to continue the journey to make The Wool Room the UK’s leading destination for high end wool products.

Strawman’s Creative Director Jon Groom commented: “The task ahead will see us handle brand strategy, creative and content strategy to position The Wool Room as a challenger brand and a trusted and personable alternative in the sector.

“They have some great stories to tell and we are excited about telling them to a larger audience and look forward to a successful long-term partnership”

The integrated campaign will begin in January 2017 and will include print, film, retail activation, product packaging, social media and creative development of the website.

Early rumours about a pet sheep named Corporal Fluffington moving in to the office are, however, unconfirmed at this stage.
