Bavaria Magazine Campaigns

Where: Wired, GQ, Esquire, Empire

To tell Bavaria’s story, and to reinforce the brand as a premium proposition for the consumer, we implemented a brand awareness campaign in selected magazine publications.

For July and August, we created a premium execution for Empire, tailoring towards the readership with a film noir look. We also produced premium executions for GQ and Esquire, along with a 0.0% execution for Wired.

Our Approach

We took the story of Bavaria established in the initial brand relaunch- family owned, and independent since 1719 – and matched that with a minimalist, premium design that focused on the bottle to increase consumer familiarity.

Each advert was approached with a slightly different creative execution, to further reinforce the breadth of reasons to believe in a new premium beer, and to make associations with each magazine’s readership.
