WHO ARE STRAWMAN?

Established in 2013 with a team of top agency professionals in a town 100 miles north of London. This means we don’t have the inflated London overheads, but we do have the London agency trained talent within our ranks. Brought together from the worlds of advertising, film and branding.

Strawman was created to reflect how we wanted our working relationship with clients to be.
Put simply a partnership.

Our approach to that is we listen to your challenges, we research and discover,
we untap and uncover to reveal the real brand truths.

We’re different. And so are you.

We think more deeply.

A graduate of Nottingham Trent University in Computer Studies, he worked freelance as well as full-time before moving to London for a time with ecommerce company Truition where clients included the likes of Toshiba, Comet and Emap.

With over ten years experience in the industry working with a broad range of people and companies, Phil has developed a thorough understanding of both the technology involved and also how to communicate on different levels, not only face-to-face but via interface design where a passion for usability drives him to create websites that are easy to use as well as technically proficient.

He also likes French wine and occasionally goes skateboarding.

  • Jonathan saville - software developer

    JONATHAN SAVILLE

    SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Jonathan is by nature very curious, and the breadth of his eclectic twenty-five years experience reflects that. He has been a key player on enterprise-critical systems for some of the giants of industry (National Grid, MCI WorldCom, Digital), on small, intimate web projects and everything in-between.

Curiosity has not killed this cat, however, but has rather led him on many ex-industry ventures, including spending a couple of years in Australia to gain a Masters Degree in Tropical Marine Biology. Not your average software developer, then.
